New to padel

What is padel?

A racket sport played in doubles on a small glass-walled court. Think tennis meets squash, with more laughing.

Do I need experience?

None. Book Intro to padel and you’ll be rallying in an hour. Everything else is on New to padel.

Is it good for competitive players?

Yes. Graded leagues, a club ladder and the Bounce Tournament Series, on six panoramic courts. See Compete.

What should I wear?

Sportswear and indoor court shoes.

Can I hire a racket?

Yes, at the desk for $10.

How do I book a court?

Through Playtomic. Open Bounce in Playtomic, or search “Bounce” in the app.

Can I bring mates who aren’t members?

Of course. Book on Playtomic and split the court four ways. Non-members pay the non-member rate.

How far ahead can I book?

Members 3 weeks, everyone else 2 weeks.

What’s the cancellation policy?

We use Playtomic’s standard cancellation policy, shown when you book.

How much is a court?

Off-peak $23, standard $27 and peak $32, per player for an hour. Members pay $8.50, $13.50 and $19.20. Book in Playtomic.

What memberships are there?

It depends on your club. See Sydney and Perth.

Can I use both clubs?

Yes. Your membership works at both Sydney and Perth.

Is there a lock-in contract?

Give 14 days’ notice to cancel. If you rejoin later, there’s a $50 rejoining fee.

Where are you?

When are you open?

Sunday – Thursday, 6am – 11pm. Friday – Saturday, 6am – 12am.

Is there parking?

Yes, 18 free spaces on site.

Is the clubhouse open?

Not yet. We’re opening the courts first. Changing rooms, the pro shop, the bar, café, and the sauna and ice baths follow in stages, and members hear first. See The Club.

Do you host events?

Corporate clinics, birthdays, team socials. See Host with us.

When does Perth open?

Coming soon. Join the Perth waitlist to hear first.

Will Perth open in stages too?

No. Perth opens with the full club from day one: six courts, the clubhouse, bar and café, a sauna with a view and two ice baths, and a pro shop.

Will there be founding memberships?

Yes: 50 founding memberships, coming soon. Look out for the announcement. The waitlist hears first.
